Monument to the hero of the national epic Manas, erected on August 31, 2011. Sculptor Bazarbay Sydykov. Timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence. The monument replaced the Erkindik statue. Manas is the symbol that unites the nation. The height of the bronze monument together with the pedestal is 17 meters 55 centimeters. According to the initial sketch, Manas was supposed to have a naked sword in his right hand, however, after discussing this issue, it was decided that the sword should be in a sheath, and his right hand raised to greet.
