The great Manaschi, the famous Tynybek Japy uulu was born in 1846 in the village of Kainar on Issyk-Kul.His childhood was difficult because his father, Japy, was poor.
He started reading manas at the age of 14, and at the age of 25 he became a famous Manaschi. Chynbash, Keldibek and Akylbek influenced Tynybek in his formation as a manaschi. The reading of "Manas" by Tynybek, as with other manaschi, is associated with a dream. In 1898, only an excerpt of the Semetea trilogy was recorded. He knew all the chapters of Manas .
His peculiarity in reading Manas is that his narration skills are very high. Togolok Moldo, Donuzbai, Baibagysh, Sagymbai and others were his students. Tynybek is one of the founders of a separate school of this art, which influenced most of the Manaschi of the XIX century. He also made a significant contribution to the development of the epic "Manas" to today's artistic heights. Memories show that he spoke about the head of the "Semetei" with great enthusiasm. An excerpt from the section of his narrative "Semetey"was later published in Moscow in 1925 in Arabic. The name of Tynybek is proudly mentioned in history.
